Hannah and Cade get a little naughty in the kitchen…
Mischief glittered across those dark blue eyes, and he gave me a lazy smirk. “I do love that about you.” He lifted his free hand and trailed his fingers down the side of my neck. “Hungry?”
His gaze drifted down to my bare breasts, lingering as my nipples hardened under his heavy attention, then shot back up, locking onto mine. By the time he took a slow breath, he looked ravenous.
I swallowed hard and nodded, unable to find my voice, my throat locking up.
“Good,” he growled. “I’m famished. And wondering what you taste like covered in chocolate sauce.”
Emboldened by my own hunger, needing to take charge for a change, I pressed a hand to his chest, shaking my head. “No. Not this time, Mr. Michaelson. Your turn to be on the menu.”
His eyes widened, nostrils flaring, but he didn’t argue.
Smart man.
I went to the pantry to retrieve the jar of chocolate sauce. By the time I turned around, he’d jumped on top of the kitchen island and had reclined back.
For a split second, my breath caught. Like a Greek god carved by Michelangelo himself, Cade reclined on the slab of marble, sleek lines of muscle stretching from his legs to lean hips. Strong shoulders and corded forearms shifted as he turned to face me, revealing rippling abs that led to a dusting of hair. In the center of all that muscular beauty, arched the very thing I couldn’t wait to drizzle chocolate sauce on, wrap my lips around.
He watched me, the corners of his lips twitching.
Right when my pulse fired faster, as I bit my lower lip and took another step closer, my beautiful man took a deep breath, and the heat of his stare intensified. Until he dropped his head back and shot his arm straight up in the air, striking a pose with all the ego of a man who knew he was all that—with the confidence in his masculinity to pull it off.
“Well, hell. Was I supposed to grab a sketch pad?” I bit the lip I’d pulled into my teeth to keep from laughing.
He snapped his head up, pinning me with a hard stare. “Make one move anywhere but straight toward me, use any medium but that sauce on my body, and I will tackle you onto the kitchen floor. Then I’ll be painting you and cleaning up the mess with my tongue.”
